The systematic literature review identified the following clusters: the mobile app uses, practices and consumption; gender and sexual identities and digitally mediated interfaces; gender dynamics of mobile apps; technicality, affordances and grammar of apps; algorithmic governance; human interaction technology; identity performances and body representations; mediated intimacy; and digital sexual cultures.
